We, the undersigned, support the transformation of Bradford’s Holland St into a true, people-centred “main street” for our community.

We support the preferred plan to rebuild Holland Street as a complete street with safer, wider sidewalks, amenity areas, improved crossings, smart signalisation and dedicated left-turn lanes to keep traffic flowing smoothly. The design includes upgraded underground services, proper on-street parking bays, expanded rear-lot parking, and a connected cycling and multi-use network linking key destinations across town.

This project will create a more walkable, accessible and welcoming downtown — one that reflects how Bradford is growing and gives residents a place to gather, explore and enjoy for generations.

We recognize this project is funded through water/wastewater reserves and development charges. 

We want a renewed, people-focused downtown. We want downtown revitalisation.

The simple reality is that Bradford desperately needs new and improved schools.

Specifically, we need a new public high school, as BDHS is significantly overcrowded, with dozens of portables being used, and more being installed. We also need at least three new elementary schools, and upgrades made to our older schools. A new Catholic elementary school is approved and an addition is under construction at Holy Trinity Catholic High School. But we have to keep pushing.

We are advocating for the new schools we need, and working collaboratively with the school boards and provincial government.
